Daniel Farke's parting message to players as they jet off for international break

After Leeds United drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace, Daniel Farke addressed his players before they departed for a three-week international break, longer than usual after FIFA merged the September and October windows for 2026/27. Farke said the players were disappointed not to win, missing a chance to move third in the table, but he urged them to keep perspective given nine points from five games and an unbeaten Premier League run. He noted he had to deliver his message immediately after the match since he would have no further chance to see many players before the next fixture, as some travelled for their national teams that same night.
