'Eternally grateful' McBurnie ready to show what Scotland have missed

Oli McBurnie has returned to the Scotland squad for Nations League matches against Slovenia, Switzerland and North Macedonia, ending a five-year absence from the national team under former head coach Steve Clarke. The 30-year-old, who has 16 caps but no goals for Scotland, says he was overlooked partly because he "didn't play well enough" or represent himself properly when previously selected. He credits new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli with giving him a fresh chance after a change in management, saying he is "eternally grateful" and determined to prove he belongs in the squad.
