Rio Ngumoha, an 18-year-old winger who joined Liverpool's Academy in September 2024, has described how he believed in and "manifested" his rapid rise to the senior team. He has made 35 appearances and scored twice, debuting against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup in January 2025 before becoming Liverpool's youngest-ever Premier League scorer against Newcastle United seven months later. He credited his progress to starting pre-season with the first team and continually working to prove himself.
