Cadillac's F1 technical recruitment drive

Cadillac has announced three new technical hires for its Formula 1 team: Craig Skinner, formerly of Red Bull for 20 years, joins as chief development engineer; Eric Blandin, who previously worked at Ferrari, Mercedes and Aston Martin, becomes head of aerodynamics; and Tim Lean, with experience at McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari, is chief engineer for aerodynamics modelling and simulation. Skinner and Blandin will report to chief technical officer Nick Chester, while Lean reports to Blandin. Team boss Marcin Budkowski described the appointments as a "vital step in the technical evolution of the team," aimed at building a stronger integrated technical organisation.
