Cadillac's F1 team construction

Cadillac F1 has hired three engineers from championship-winning rivals as part of its ongoing technical build-out: Craig Skinner joins as chief development engineer after two decades at Red Bull, Eric Blandin becomes head of aerodynamics after serving as deputy technical director at Mercedes, and Tim Lean, previously at McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari, becomes chief engineer for aerodynamics modelling and simulation. Team Principal Marcin Budkowski said the appointments would strengthen the team's integrated technical organisation and long-term development. The hires come amid Cadillac's winless debut season and follow Budkowski's own recent appointment as team boss after Graeme Lowdon's dismissal.
