Liam Lawson heralded upon much-desired Racing Bulls return

Liam Lawson returned to Racing Bulls for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after a three-round stint deputising for the injured Isack Hadjar at Red Bull, going seventh-fastest in FP1 before slipping to 12th in FP2. Team principal Alan Permane praised Lawson's performance during his Red Bull spell, in which he scored 14 points and qualified within a tenth of Max Verstappen at Zandvoort, saying Lawson was eager to return to "his" car and has picked up where he left off. Lawson has 45 points across 11 Racing Bulls starts this season, including a career-best fifth in Monaco, and Permane also noted the strong working dynamic between Lawson and teammate Arvid Lindblad.
