Overnight Baku circuit repairs after driver complaints

The approach to Turn 7 at the Baku City Circuit, previously resurfaced ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, was worked on again overnight after its upper layer became loose in Thursday's heat, prompting complaints from unnamed drivers in the post-FP2 briefing. The corner had already caused trouble during Friday practice, with Arvid Lindblad narrowly avoiding the barriers and Kimi Antonelli ending his session in the run-off area there due to a hydraulics issue. Other resurfaced sections at Turns 2, 3, 4 and 19 were reportedly not touched overnight, and while the F2 Sprint Race passed Turn 7 without incident in cooler morning temperatures, it remains uncertain whether the repairs will hold once conditions warm up later in the day.
