Red Bull's 2027 driver lineup moves

Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies has confirmed that the upgrade arriving on the RB22 in Azerbaijan this week, focused on the floor and sidepod areas, will be the team's final major update of the season, with resources now largely shifted to next year's car. He noted that minimal regulation changes for 2026 allow Red Bull to keep gathering data from the current car without further major investment, while still prioritising a first race win this season. Red Bull currently sits fourth in the constructors' standings on 230 points, with Max Verstappen sixth in the drivers' championship on 145 points after three podiums this year but no wins.
