Teams reveal Baku upgrade packages for Mercedes fight

McLaren and Red Bull have both brought major upgrade packages to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as part of efforts to close the gap to championship-leading Mercedes, with McLaren introducing an eight-part revision including sidepod, engine cover, diffuser and rear suspension changes, and Red Bull bringing five updates covering the floor, diffuser, sidepod, mirrors and Halo. Ferrari is among five teams bringing no new parts this weekend. Williams and Audi have also brought extensive updates, with Williams introducing an almost entirely new floor, front corner and suspension setup on its FW48, and Audi bringing the largest package of any team at 14 new parts, effectively creating a B-spec version of its 2026 car.
