HRSA's 340B Rebate Model Pilot Program
HRSA has approved 10 drug manufacturers to take part in its revised 340B Rebate Model Pilot Program, under which participating companies will issue rebates to covered entities after purchase rather than providing upfront discounts. The agency publicly disclosed the list of approved companies, marking a step forward in implementation of the pilot after earlier manufacturer rebate proposals faced scrutiny and delays. The move allows the named manufacturers to begin operating under the rebate model within the program's agreed parameters.
