Trump Orders Culling; Woman Alive After Botched Execution; Power Walks and Frailty
President Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to reduce mosquito and tick populations in Washington, D.C. Separately, a Tennessee woman on death row survived two doses of lethal injection before officials called off her execution, amid broader reporting that hotter prison conditions are contributing to more inmate deaths from heart disease and suicide. A cluster randomized trial also found that, among pre-frail and frail adults, high-intensity walking was more effective than casual-speed walking at reversing frailty.
