Columbus Crew fires reserve team coach

The Columbus Crew have dismissed Federico Higuaín as head coach of their reserve side, Crew 2. General Manager Issa Tall said the decision followed conversations this week and an assessment of the past month, concluding that the club's leadership standards had not been met. Crew 2's technical staff will take on additional responsibilities for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs while the club searches for a full-time replacement.
