D.C. United Ficha al Mediocampista Kamil Castillo Procedente de la Academia

D.C. United signed 16-year-old academy midfielder Kamil Castillo through 2030, with a club option for June 2031, making him the 24th homegrown academy player in club history. Castillo joined the academy in January 2024 from Achilles FC and last season recorded six goals and seven assists in 33 matches across the U-18, MLS NEXT Flex, and Pro Pathway competitions. He holds dual U.S.-Dominican nationality and has represented both countries internationally, debuting for the Dominican Republic U-17 team in February 2026 and contributing two goals and three assists in three Concacaf U-17 World Cup qualifying matches.
