Anders Dreyer's breakthrough season

San Diego FC winger Anders Dreyer has been named to the 2026 MLS All-Star Game roster, joining a squad set to face a LIGA MX All-Star team on July 29 in Charlotte. Dreyer leads MLS this season with 9 assists and 44 key passes to go with 6 goals in 15 matches, following a 2025 debut campaign in which he won MLS Newcomer of the Year and set a league record for goal contributions by a first-year player. The full roster, finalized through fan, player, media and coach voting plus two commissioner selections, also includes World Cup standouts Matt Freese, Petar Musa and Richie Laryea, along with Evander, Thomas Müller, Sam Surridge and host-club Charlotte FC representatives Tim Ream, Pep Biel and Ashley Westwood.
