Inter Miami CF drew 2-2 at home against San Diego FC in MLS regular season play, moving to 46 points on the season. Anders Dreyer opened the scoring for San Diego in the 12th minute, before Leo Messi equalized with a free kick in the 24th, taking his season tally to 20 goals. Luis Suárez put Inter Miami ahead in the 74th minute off a Rodrigo De Paul assist, but San Diego equalized again in the 82nd minute; goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair made a late save to preserve the draw, during which midfielder Yannick Bright made his 100th club appearance. Inter Miami next travels to face the Columbus Crew on Sunday, Sept. 27.
