CF Montréal fans voted Prince Owusu as the club's Player of the Month for August. The forward scored four goals in four matches during the month, against New England Revolution, D.C. United, Columbus Crew, and LA Galaxy, including a late equalizer against LA Galaxy. He succeeds goalkeeper Sébastian Breza, who won the July award, and this marks Owusu's third monthly honor of the season after also being named Player of the Month for April and May.
