RSL Academy Announces Structural Changes Ahead of 2026-27 Season

Real Salt Lake Academy has announced its full staff for the 2026-27 MLS NEXT season. Jon Spencer returns as RSL Academy Director, taking over day-to-day leadership following the departures of Gary Williamson and Colton Atkin, while Beltran remains in charge of RSL Academy and Real Monarchs overall. Other changes include Netto joining from Orlando City SC Academy, U18 Head Coach Neal returning for his first full season with recently-retired defender Charpie joining his staff, and the Ovalle brothers taking over full-time coaching roles with the U16s after serving as interim co-coaches. Dr. Luna continues overseeing academic and community initiatives after 18 academy graduates completed high school in 2025-26.
