Ruben Ramos Jr.'s U.S. Under-20 selection

LA Galaxy forward Ruben Ramos Jr. and Ventura County FC midfielder Dylan Vanney, both LA Galaxy Academy products, have been named by head coach Gonzalo Segares to the U.S. U-19 Men's National Team roster for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship in Mexico, running July 24-August 9. The tournament doubles as qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2027 Pan American Games. The U.S. will play Group A matches against Haiti, El Salvador and Cuba at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla after a pre-tournament camp in Utah, with the top two teams per group and the two best third-place finishers advancing to the quarterfinals. Ramos Jr., 19, previously helped the U.S. U-20 team qualify for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, scoring twice in five appearances at that tournament.
