Ruiz called up to Honduras roster

David Ruiz, 22, has been named to Honduras's roster for upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches, the federation announced. The Red Bull New York midfielder joined the club on loan from Inter Miami CF on September 2 and made his New York debut September 5 against Seattle, coming on as a substitute for 16 minutes; he has 63 career MLS appearances with three goals and four assists across four seasons. For Honduras, the Miami native has made 10 career appearances and scored three goals since his September 12, 2023 debut against Grenada, with his most recent call-up coming in June for a friendly against Argentina.
