North Korea border office destruction settlement

A South Korean court ordered North Korea to pay roughly $32.5 million in damages for demolishing the Inter-Korean Liaison Office in the Kaesong Industrial Complex, marking the first time Seoul has pursued a direct damages claim against Pyongyang over the incident. The liaison office had been built to house joint communication between the two Koreas at the shuttered industrial park, where South Korean firms once employed North Korean labor before ties collapsed.
