The murder of two Australian surfers and an American friend in Mexico
A Mexican court has convicted three men of murdering Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad. The three were killed in 2024 while on a surfing and camping trip near Ensenada in Baja California, in what investigators described as a botched robbery targeting their truck. The case had drawn heavy attention in Australia and the United States after the trio went missing and were later found dead.
