South Africa transport and missing person incidents

Two minibus taxis collided head-on and were then struck by an SUV on a highway in South Africa's Western Cape, near the towns of Prince Albert and Leeu-Gamka, killing at least 21 people and seriously injuring four more, provincial officials said. Eighteen victims died at the scene and three more after being taken to hospital, according to the national Road Traffic Management Corporation. The crash was one of two major road accidents over the same weekend that together killed at least 29 people across the country.
