Earl Spencer's stolen Diana manuscript

Earl Spencer's memoir Swan Song: Diana, My Sister claims that King Charles said Diana would be forgotten soon enough and sounded giddily elated after she died. Buckingham Palace has responded with a rare and robust denial, saying grief can colour memory. Spencer has defended his account in a BBC interview, saying he is telling the truth, and says the King gaslit him. The row has intensified, and the book is already racing up the Amazon best-seller chart before its official publication.
