Kim Jong Un's reappearance after a death rumour
North Korea has released new photographs of Kim Jong Un, which state media presented as evidence he is alive and active amid another round of online speculation about his health. Such rumours have recurred for years whenever Kim goes unseen in public for a stretch, typically followed by official images meant to dispel them. North Korea's tight control over information continues to prevent independent confirmation of his actual condition.
