The Russell Brand rape trial

Russell Brand's rape trial has moved through testimony from both the defence and accusers, with Brand denying all allegations and insisting sexual consent is "fundamental." His wife testified that he is "kind and a wonderful father," while acknowledging other women had caused strain in their marriage. Earlier testimony described accusers as having been "haunted" for years by the alleged crimes, and Brand said the allegations turned friends and colleagues against him.
