Pope Leo XIV's lung health and recovery
Pope Leo XIV is recovering well after surgery removed an early-stage cancerous tumor from his lung, with doctors confirming no further treatment is needed. He was discharged from hospital four days after the operation, returned to the Vatican, and has resumed his Wednesday general audiences, moving and walking freely.
