The Trump diesel deal with Putin

Trump's diesel deal with Russia is now facing bipartisan opposition in Washington after Republican senators joined Democrats in criticizing the arrangement. The deal has also deepened a rift with Kyiv, where Zelensky denounced it as favoring Putin, prompting Trump to suggest Ukraine needs "a new president." Russian strikes on Ukraine have continued, killing at least 21 people, while analysts remain split on whether the Ukraine war or the Iran conflict is doing more to drive diesel prices.
