James Talarico's disappearance and resurfacing

Texas state Rep. James Talarico's campaign has confirmed he is "still alive" following a 13-day public absence that drew widespread scrutiny. Talarico has attributed the gap to a bout of flu, an explanation Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and President Trump have both dismissed as unconvincing. His campaign spokesman has continued to push back against ongoing questions, though no further details about his whereabouts or activities during the absence have been disclosed.
