Michigan Democrats remain openly divided days before the midterm election, with gubernatorial nominee Abdul El-Sayed telling former primary rival Haley Stevens to stay away from his campaign events. Stevens, who had conceded the earlier primary to El-Sayed, instead campaigned alongside Republican Mike Rogers rather than appear with him. She has since faced direct questions over her endorsement of Rogers, a Republican, in the closely watched Senate race.
