The Fairford air base terror plot

Five British men in their 20s arrested near RAF Fairford over a suspected plot against the airbase used by US forces were released without charge on police bail. Rubio said the incident involves a foreign actor, and Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the UK believes Iran was involved, which Iran has responded to. Counter-terror police have arrested a 25-year-old UK-Iranian dual national in Westminster on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts and are considering all angles, including foreign state involvement. The US air force has since removed all bombers from RAF Fairford. Police have now also arrested a 22-year-old British man in connection with the suspected plot.
