JD Vance's comments on firing squad executions

JD Vance has said he would not personally watch an execution by firing squad, voicing discomfort with the method but not opposing its use. His comments coincide with a wider revival of firing squads as an execution method in several US states, driven mainly by shortages of lethal injection drugs. States have turned to the method as a practical alternative amid ongoing legal and supply difficulties with chemical executions.
